Chais Saint-Laurent Sancerre Rouge

This red Sancerre offers the olfactory sensors aromas of bright red fruit with a subtle undercurrent of chalk; hints of ove-ripe raspberry are also present.  On the palate, the wine has very little weight with flavors of eucalyptus and red cherries.  This Sancerre would pair wonderfully with light to medium dishes such as roast pork tenderloin, grilled salmon, sausage, French saucisson (salami), and medium-bodied cheeses. $20.99

Ponga Pinot Noir

This delicate Pinot Noir shines in the glass with a bright burgundy color.  The nose detects cold cherry fruit aromas with a slight earthiness, reminiscent of freshly turned soil.  Spiced plum and bright berry flavors abound, wrapped delicately in a light body with high acidity.  Serve this pinot noir with grilled salmon steaks, beef bourguignon, roast pork tenderloin, and pasta with red sauce. $15.99

Brandborg Pinot Noir

The grapes sourced for this small-production Pinot Noir are all sourced from vineyards close to the Umpqua River in Oregon.  The aromas and bouquet offer bright and vibrant strawberry fruit, mushrooms, earth, and sweet oak.  The mouthfeel is round and full.  The wine is aged in 100% French oak barrels, 33% of which are new.  This allows for lees stirring and the building of structure and mouthfeel.  This is a great value Pinot Noir at $18.99!
